About the Design —

A timeless character and a symbol of generations — There's no denying that Mickey is one of the world's most recognizable icons. Mickey was an instant sensation after appearing on screens in November 1928 in the first Mickey Mouse film — “Steamboat Willie”. Drawing inspiration from the film, the design of the watch face is centered around the iconic scene of Mickey behind the boat wheel.

The design notion draws emphasis to the frame of the boat wheel — Where the handles of the boat wheel resemble the markings on a clock. The debossing technique in the watch dial design is used to bring this iconic feature to life.
